MilliSong is a mp3 download website that offers over 1,200,000 songs for you to download. The site is brand new constantly growing and improving.
MilliSong has been re-designed, re-configured and been turned upside down and inside out. It is now a well-structured, effective music download site deserving of a review! All the music the site offers will work on your iPod, iTunes library, iPhone, MP3 Player, Laptop, or anything else you have that plays mp3s too, so it’s a really great site that is worth checking out.
MilliSong offer mp3 tracks for different prices, depending on the length of the track. Prices start at 14¢. The site offers up to date music too, not just the older music and unheard of stuff is so cheap. Albums on the site are very cheap too, but there is no album discount, unlike other sites.
This service is very popular, millions of people use it everyday for their iPods, phones and other music devices. That’s probably why they are called MilliSong, but who knows! Most people don’t realise that iPods can have any music added to them, not just tracks and albums brought through iTunes. All you need to do is import the tracks into your iTunes library and they are ready to be added to your iPod. How is this different from iTunes?
MilliSong works a bit differently to iTunes for a few reasons:
- You only need to download the music you want, not iTunes software. This saves space on your pc, and more importantly, time spent downloading iTunes.
- You can save the tracks you download anywhere on your pc, so they can then go onto a disc, onto your phone, or wherever you like. You’re not restricted by iTunes.
- With MilliSong, you pay an amount of cash upfront, not per track, so you don’t need to keep paying a little bit each time, you top up once and use it till you run out. This means you can download music anywhere you are by going to the MilliSong site, then downloading it onto your pc from your account later. You do not need to be on your iTunes with your login on your own pc or laptop.
- All tracks are DRM free so they can be used anywhere or copied as many times as you like on any mp3 playing device. iTunes have recently scrapped their DRM protection, but song prices have gone up as a result. Not what we want to see!
The catch is the amount of cash you need to deposit to start with. Songs may only be 14¢ odd, but you cannot just buy one. However, the minimum top up required to start using the site is very low, at just $25.00. However, there is a $1 transaction fee each time you top up, so it might be worth topping up a bit more if you think you’re going to use the site. The amount you add to your account never expires, so you can use it whenever you like. You can pay on MilliSong using Visa or MasterCard and it is very safe and secure.
MilliSong offer free credit when you top up your account with the site. The minimum may apply each time, but topping up a little extra can be worth it:
